Richmond Academy supports and encourages healthy eating amongst our children. Some suggestions for a healthy packed lunch include:
- a cheese or ham sandwich, roll or wrap;
- a piece of fruit;
- cheese triangle;
- yoghurt or yoghurt drink;
- cereal bar or flap jack;
- salad, pasta or rice salad;
- fruit juice or water.
There are lots of helpful ideas for a healthy lifestyle on the Change for Life website and leaflets.
Reminder to parent/carer
Please make sure that if your child has a packed lunch and if they need to use a spoon/fork to eat their lunch that one is provided from home.
