Early Birds Nursery

These are just some of the photos from our activities, view our gallery to see more!

The Early Birds Nursery provides a nurturing and supportive learning atmosphere, where children can reach their full potential.

We are proud of our friendly qualified nursery team and believe we effectively facilitate all our children's needs through a wide range of differentiated experiences.

Each child has a key worker to bond with and gain more confidence as they grow. We believe that a positive partnership with parents/carers is paramount and encourage this through inviting parents/carers to stay and play when they come in with their children. We also share diaries with the children and parents/carers, which include what we have done that week and photos of the children enjoying themselves. We also appreciate it when parents/carers write in the diaries to achieve the partnership further.

We provide two sessions throughout the day which consists of a well-structured timetable of child initiated time, adult led group work and snack time. At snack time we encourage the children to eat healthily, providing a range of fruit, vegetables and milk/water. Throughout child initiated time and group time we use children's individual work for stimulating and inspiring displays around the nursery.

The Early Birds Nursery sessions are as follows:

Morning Sessions  (AM)

Afternoon Sessions  (PM)

08.30 – 11.30

12.15 – 15.15

The Early Years Foundations Stage leader is Lynne Baker, who also manages the children in Reception.

We take children from age three and places are funded by the government. To register your child’s place (which we advise you do from the birth of the child), please contact Mrs L Pyrke in the main academy office.
